Children's Miracle Network

As Miss Gunnison Valley I spent my Fourth of July raising money for the Children's Miracle Network
My goal was to raise $100.00
Thanks to our wonderful and supportive community.
I made my goal!!
I sold over 70 balloons and also had generous donations made.

Thank you Gunnison Market for donating the balloons and helium to help support this program!

Why the Children's Miracle Network?

Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals® raises funds for 170 children’s hospitals across America.
When a donation is given it stays in the community, every dollar is helping local kids.
Since 1983, Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals has raised more than $4 billion,
most of it $1 at a time.
These donations have gone to support research and training, purchase equipment, and pay for care, all in support of their mission, to
save and improve the lives of as many children as possible

The Miss America Program and the CMN Program have a partnership to raise money for both programs. The following opportunities for contestants and Miss America titleholders:

  • Miss America acts as a goodwill ambassador for Children's Miracle Network Hospitals throughout her year of service.
  • Miss America contestants at all levels raise money and awareness for Children's Miracle Network Hospitals and the Miss America Scholarship Program.
  • Children's Miracle Network Hospitals is the national platform for the Miss America Organization.
  • The tradition of the personal platform continues and contestants and titleholders can raise awareness for their chosen advocacy cause.

Last year, the Miss America Organization and its state and
local organizations made available more than $45 million in cash and scholarship assistance.

Here is a featured Miracle Story. And I will try to keep these videos updated so our community will know what kind of children they are helping when they donate. What kind of lives they saved when they helped me raise $100.00 for this program!
